Meet Pamela
Hi, I'm Pamela, founder of NY Gem Staff.
NY Gem Staff was created from my own experience working with families in New York City for more than 20 years. Throughout my career as a nanny, cook, personal assistant, and household professional, I've learned that finding the right person for a home is about much more than experience on a résumé—it's about trust, reliability, personality, and the right fit.
Over the years, families I've worked with came to trust my judgment and began asking me to help them find dependable household professionals for their own homes and for people they knew. That trust inspired me to create NY Gem Staff.
I understand both sides of the placement process because I have personally been a household employee and have worked closely with private families. I know what families expect, and I also understand what makes a household professional feel respected, valued, and successful in their position.
At NY Gem Staff, my goal is simple: to personally connect families with reliable, experienced, and trustworthy candidates who can become a valuable part of their household.
